Volunteers will pick up and deliver hot meals (or frozen meals/groceries) to the home bound elderly and disabled from two locations: NAM at 15555 Kuykendahl (Mon - Sat.) and Windwood Presbyterian Church on Spring Cypress near HWY 249 (Mon - Fri.) Orientation and parking provided. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Northwest Assistance Ministries is supported by a coalition of churches in north-central and northwest Houston and Harris County. It dispenses its services without regard to the religious affiliations of those served.

Volunteer: Assistance CounselorsThe Assistance Program at Northwest Assistance Ministries is in need of volunteer counselors to help families in need. The Assistance Program services include direct assistance and referrals for food, clothing and household items; rent and mortgage payments; natural gas and water bills, and more. Volunteer counselors interview clients on a one to one basis for evaluation of client needs and assessment of available resources. Volunteer Counselors are asked to volunteer on the same day each week, from 9:30 am ? 3:00 pm. Currently, there is a great need for counselors on Wednesdays and Fridays. Bilingual (Spanish) volunteers are in great demand.

Volunteer: Super Food Drive Volunteers NeededSchool is back in session but Volunteers are still URGENTLY NEEDED for our Neighborhood Super Food Drive at Planet Ford Stadium in Spring, TX!
We are going to be feeding around 2,000 families! We need our volunteers like YOU to help make this happen for our neighbors in need.
Date: September 8th 8:30am - 1:00pm
2 Shifts available: 8-11am and 10-1pm Location: Planet Ford Stadium 23802 Cypresswood Drive, Spring, Texas 77373 Volunteer Teams: Distribution Team - sorting and placing food into vehicles Traffic Control - making sure cars are moving in the right direction, putting them into lines for food and directing them out This is a NO touch event and volunteers must wear mask & gloves, as well as practice social distancing! water, snacks, first aid & restroom facilities are available for volunteers.
