The 3rd Saturday each months except December, Buffalo Bayou Park holds a Volunteer Day to help with them parks most urgent needs. That includes picking up trash, weeding, removing silt, cleaning the trail lights and other projects.
With COVID-19, we require everyone to bring a mask, but do not require it at all times, and we have decreased the number of people working in one area. Most of our activities provide enough space. But, we have over 160 acres in which to spread out.
We will have non-latex disposable gloves available. You may bring your own work or gardening gloves.
We generally meet at the end of the parking lot at 105 Sabine St. Depending on where we will be in the park, that may change. Full instructions will be sent out before the event .
