Did you know someone in the US needs blood every two seconds? To meet this critical need, the American Red Cross is looking for dependable, safe and courteous drivers to deliver lifesaving blood products. As a Blood Transportation Specialist, you can be the critical link between blood donors and recipients. Volunteers are responsible for regular routes and are on standby for emergency runs.
Regular routes for Houston begin after 6:00PM and last generally about 3.5 hours depending on the number of hospitals needing deliveries.
Join us to learn more and meet current volunteer blood transportation specialists!
Date: Tuesday, August 10th
Time: 8:00pm - 9:00pm
Location: This will be a Microsoft Teams meeting. You can join by following this link.
By signing up to attend you are agreeing to learn more about how the Red Cross deliver blood to Houston area hospitals. You are not committed to becoming a volunteer, but at the end of the session you will be asked if you would like to officially join our team.
We look forward to seeing you virtually on the 10th!
