The 3rd Saturday of most months, Buffalo Bayou Park holds a Volunteer Day to help with them parks most urgent needs. That includes picking up trash, weeding, removing silt, cleaning the trail lights and other projects.
With COVID-19, we do require masks to be worn at all times, and we have decreased the number of people working in one area and plan so that everyone can be 6 ft apart. But, we have over 160 acres in which to spread out.
We will have non-latex disposable gloves available. You may bring your own gardening gloves.
We generally meet at the end of the parking lot at 105 Sabine St. Depending on where we will be in the park, that may change. Full instructions will be sent out a few days before the event.
