Join the staff and other volunteers at the Akokisa Native American Village for a celebration of tribal culture. Volunteers are needed to demonstrate and teach about the indigenous people that lived in Southeast Texas circa 1830.
New volunteers must first complete a volunteer application form. Because we work with and around children at the park, all volunteers must submit to a background check at no cost to you.
Volunteers under 16 years old must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian. A parental permission form is also required for those under age 16.
