Please join us for a beloved annual tradition: a guided ~2 mile hike (one way) along Hollywood Bayou (AKA Little White Oak) from Woodland Park to Moody Park, passing through hidden glens and surprising natural areas.
Hikers may park at either Woodland or Moody Park and arrange for their own transport OR continue the loop through Hollywood Cemetery which contains many historic elements. The full loop with waypoints can be found on AllTrails or on Google Maps via the FWP website. Friends of Woodland Park has been guiding this hike for 10+ years, and it has helped spark the Hollywood Bayou Trail greenway project.
FWP is delighted to be joined again in the hike this year by the Friends of Moody Park This trail segment will hopefully soon form the first leg of an official Hollywood Bayou Greenway. Come check it out and see what the project is all about!
Please note that the trail can be rough; rugged shoes recommended. Strollers and pets are not recommended.. Please bring water and a small bag if you wish to pick up trash among the way.
