The ROCK the Block Community Health and Resource Expo strives to unite community members, organizations, and stakeholders to address the social determinants of health disproportionately affecting underserved communities, particularly the BIPOC community. Recognizing that health is influenced by various factors beyond healthcare, including socioeconomic status, education, employment, housing, and resource accessibility, our aim is to cultivate healthier, more equitable communities by focusing on these determinants.
Featuring a diverse array of activities and resources, the ROCK the Block Community Health and Resource Expo is designed to empower attendees with knowledge, skills, and connections to enhance their overall well-being. From health screenings and interactive sessions to autoimmune-related resource booths and engaging entertainment, our expo offers a comprehensive approach to addressing the multifaceted aspects of health and wellness.
The importance of this project lies in its ability to address disparities in healthcare access and education, particularly in underserved communities.
