Friends of Houston Public Library

The Friends support the Houston Public Library by processing used books and by supporting initiatives, and events through volunteerism and advocacy. We welcome all volunteers ages 13 and up to join us.

The Friends of the Houston Public Library host a variety of volunteer opportunities. Organize and recycle donated books at our warehouse where we process, sell and reuse 800,000 books a year.
