Who We Are
Loaves & Fishes is a program of Magnificat Houses, Inc. (MHI) serving food to the hungry in Houston for more than 50 years. Since 1968, we have served over 10 million meals.
Our downtown soup kitchen, Loaves & Fishes, is temporarily paused as we relocate to a new, improved facility. During this transition, meal services continue at satellite locations. Visit our Agency to learn more about our current volunteer opportunities Magnificat Houses, Inc.
What We Do
At Magnificat Houses, we offer a pathway to dignity and healing through housing, meals, mental health care, and support for successful re-entry into society. Our service is grounded in compassion and built to uplift those experiencing homelessness, hunger, and hardship.
