Who We Are

Sunrise Centers are one-stop social service hubs where HISD students and their families can access support for everyday needs. Our goal is to connect families with resources that promote student well-being and success both in and out of school. Services available include (but are not limited to): Basic needs support (food, clothing, hygiene items) Case Management Medical Health services (telehealth, health screenings, educational workshops) Mental Health support (counseling and emotional support) Student Enrichment (after-school programs, tutoring, and activities) Adult Education & Enrichment (classes, workshops, job readiness) Homeless and Foster Care services (McKinney-Vento Act & Fostering Connections to Success and Increasing Adoptions Act of 2008)
