Who We Are
Since 1983, Memorial Assistance Ministries (MAM Houston) has partnered with hardworking Houstonians to build stable lives and hope-filled futures. In a context where nearly half of Houston’s families are working hard yet struggle to make ends meet, we provide holistic services that help people move from crisis to stability — and from surviving to thriving.
MAM supports Houston families with programs focused on education, employment, financial well-being, mental health, immigration legal services, and more. Whether someone is facing a sudden emergency or planning their next step forward, we’re here with the tools, guidance, and encouragement they need.
Since MAM Houston was founded by volunteers, they have played a vital role in our mission from day one. When you give your time — whether it’s one hour a week or a full day — you become part of a movement that helps build a more hopeful and stable future for thousands of Houstonians.
