Who We Are

The ALLICE Collective for Mental Health & Community Engagement, established in May 2021, is dedicated to enhancing mental health outcomes within the Black community through holistic services and community engagement. By fostering a collective spirit of healing and empowerment, The ALLICE Collective creates safe spaces where Black communities can breathe, connect, and grow together.

What We Do

Our services include weekly in-person support groups tailored for Black men and women, providing safe environments conducive to nurturing relationships and individual development. Additionally, we offer specialized groups catering to Black teens facing grief and loss, foster care experiences, and strategies to navigate adolescence and transition to adulthood. Social engagement events, community-building workshops and presentations further extend our reach and impact. The ALLICE Collective offers low-cost trauma-informed therapy sessions for individuals and families, ensuring accessibility to mental health care. Moreover, those facing financial hardship can access free therapy sessions. A Training and Mentorship Program supports graduate counseling and social work students, nurturing future mental health professionals. One of our signature programs, the Mental Wellness Respite & Support Program, targets Black mothers and fathers, recognizing and addressing their unique mental health challenges.
