Black United Fund of Texas

Black United Fund of Texas is an administrative, programmatic and fiscally responsible proactive institution. Since 1987 we have served as a major anchor for supporting and developing funding initiatives that facilitate the positive growth and development in under served communities. We create educational programs and provide necessary resources in underprivileged areas that spur individual and community change. We believe in smart fund allocation, and therefore we employ minimal staff.

Our programming is focused into one of six areas: Community Preparedness & Relief, Culture (African & African American heritage, history, fine art & storytelling) Youth Development, Workforce Development, Technology (manufacturing, bridging digital divide) and Food Security (production, processing, preserving & distribution)
